Truck, more useful for life things like moving towing etc and I think its more fun to drive off road than on the road.

Because that's what I have. Minus fuel it is a very cheap to own vehicle. My Silverado is a great vehicle. Of course I don't need it but it is really nice to have.

Do you work a job that requires you to carry a lot of stuff around? Yes? Buy a friggin hatchback or wagon!

Work in the sticks? Buy a friggin BOF SUV.

Have something that requires both, and you own a boat, or 2 horses, and you don't mind getting 20MPG? get the truck

Note: I am not a truck guy, but I do see their appeal. biggest I'd ever buy as a DD would be a Colorado though

Depends. Right now I'd say car, but if I had a house, I'd say truck (or at least wagon).

Truck because 'murica and I grew up in the country.

Ok not really, truck because I wanted a brand new vehicle because I have never owned one and blacktruck was the only vehicle in my price range I really liked. I could get by with a hatchback, but FWD which I hate and they don't make El Camino's anymore so I couldn't buy one. So RCSB truck.
